This process takes two smaller mixing nozzles and more-or-less doubles their length, by cutting ‘opposite ends’ off each one and taping them together.
Step 1 (Prep): You need two 18-element mixing nozzles, some strong tape (likeduct tape), and a strong cutting device that will cut through a plastic mixing nozzle
Steps 2 & 3: Cut the back/inlet off the first mixing nozzle (the gray piece)
Step 4: Cut the front tip/outlet off the second mixing (the small luer-lok tip)
Steps 5, 6, 7: align the two cut-off ends together so that the form an extended nozzle, as in pic 5. Thoroughly tape the two ends together so that they form a single longer mixing nozzle, and that the taped end will not easily separate.
Steps 8, 9, 10: The mixing nozzle can then be affixed to the adhesive cartridge and successfully mix and dispense the adhesive as normal. The longer mixing nozzle will then properly mix more sensitive adhesives.
And a few important notes: Please don’t cut yourself, you are a professional right!? (haha) Please use Nitrile/Rubber gloves when dispensing your adhesives, it can be messy, often it’s not friendly to skin, and can be irritating to living things (like us humans).
