How to Strengthen Superglues & Instant Adhesives using strengthening power (typically baking soda-based)

This technique massively strengthens superglues that are used to bond most all surfaces, metals, plastics, ceramics, woods, papers, fabrics, etc.

Steps:

  • Clean the surfaces to be bonded
  • Abrade, sandpaper or scratch the surface if possible as this will make the bond even stronger
  • Iteratively apply strengthening power and superglue to layer-up the bond material
    1. Apply the strengthening powder moderately to the surfaces to bond
    2. Apply superglue, thinner formulas are better than thicker formulas for this technique
    3. Repeat as needed or desired until the bond appears solid and strong
  • Let it dry for 30-60 minutes minimum, but preferably a few to several hours.
  • Put the product into use, it’s ready to go.
