The adhesive is well suited for applications that endure wide temperature ranges, and that are subjected to high impact or high peel loads. MX- T6 is non-sag, allows precise control of bondline thickness, and is UL 746C certified. It has a working time of 6-9 minutes at 77° F, Flash point at 59° F, and will it will be fully cured in 24 hours. This acrylic adhesive is capable of bonding a variety of unprepared metals and it will resist solvents, greases, oils, moisture, salt spray, dilute acids and weathering. It also has excellent resistance to indirect Ultraviolet exposure.
Advantages and Features:
Versatile - requires little substrate preparation and binds a wide variety of unprepared metals.
Temperature Resistant: Operates between -40 and +300°F (–149 to +149°C).
Environmentally Resistant - withstands diluted acids, alkalis, solvents, greases, oils, dampness, salt spray, and weathering; offers exceptional resistance to indirect UV exposure.
UL Rated - Maxlok MX/T6 adhesive system is UL 746C approved and is UL rated.
Precise Bondline - Since it contains glass beads with a diameter of 0.01 inches (0.025 cm), Precise Bondline enables exact control of the adhesive bondline thickness.
Non-Sag - maintains position when applied to overhead or vertical surfaces, enhancing process flexibility
