MMA8110 GB is fast curing designed primarily for bonding galvanized coated metals, in particular Hot Dipped G90 and G60.
It has a unique combination of features:
-
Primerless adhesion to metals, most thermoplastics and composites
- Contains glass microbeads to help enforce minimum bondline strength. Very popular for ensuring high-performance bonding
- Exceptional strength and elongation
-
Excellent for bonding of dissimilar materials
- Excellent fatigue resistance, impact resistance and toughness
-
Low odor formula
-
Excellent environment resistance to salt spray and other environmental factors

Its environmental and chemical resistance also works well in marine and humid environments. This product is often used for larger assemblies and for bigger gaps, where a longer set-time is important. This 1:1-ratio formula has an open time of 35 minutes and handling strength can be achieved in 90 to 120 minutes. It gives excellent bond strength along with good toughness and high impact strength. Highly recommended in marine industries and other composite assemblies.
Please Note: These cartridges are designed to work best with a 50ml or 400ml cartridge Dispenser, respectively. We advise you use a 50ml or 400ml Dispenser for all respective cartridges. If you do not have one, please check out our Dispensers, all are excellent products and have our 'it's good' seal of approval.
If you prefer not to use a Dispenser, we have some 50ml kits that include hand tools or caulking dispenser adapters, as pictured, that you can use for fast small jobs. But the 400ml cartridges really need to use a 400ml Dispenser, they're just too big to effectively use without the dispenser.
Chemical Resistance
Excellent resistant to hydrocarbons, oils, gasoline, kerosene, diesel, acids and bases, salt solutions, briny water, salt water, fresh water
Susceptible to polar solvents like methanol, ethanol, acetone
Directions of applications
Wipe off and degrease the surface to be bonded. Use eye protection and gloves to avoid skin contact. Dispense a desirable amount of adhesive using a dispensing dispenser. The nozzle sizes can be selected according to the desired bond thickness. Join the substrates with the specified work-life of this material and allow it to cure at room temperature. Do not disturb the parts during the curing process. Excess adhesive can be wiped off. (For optimum strength, surface preparation for the metals like sandblast, etching is suggested).
Safety and handling
Wear eye protection and gloves. Harmful if swallowed. Keep it away from heat, flames. Keep out of reach of children. Once used keep the containers closed.
Storage and shelf life
Store this product in a tightly closed container in a cool and well-ventilated area. Product should not be frozen. Keep it away from any source of heat. Store the material in between 51℉ to 75℉. Continuous exposure above 75℃ will reduce the shelf life.
